Engine stalls when I shift from Drive to Park

You could also try to place a cold pack on the PCM when you leave it in the parking lot then come back quickly and see if it starts (seeing if the PCM is getting hot or not) which means a bad PCM if heat causes the issue.

Just an update...

This weekend I cleaned out my throttle body...I'd never done so before (65,000 miles+) and the IAC plunger was pretty grimy. My truck runs much better now & is not stalling anymore when I shift into Park.

Not sure if this is a temporary fix or not...but my truck runs great now. Hopefully it stays this way.

i have the same issue... im gonna clean my throttle body tomorrow morning, but the IAC plunger? is that the same thing as the IACV? if so i know what that is. thanks ahead of time!
