Are using a dodge oem seal? The spring could be coming off the seal when installing it. Or there is a nick on the yoke of the drive shaft, I have also seen the yoke leak from the soft plug. Meanning its not seal, but the yoke. Here is what you can do, add dye to the transfer box and ck with a black lite to find the leak.

^+1^ A worn yoke will cause the seal to leak. Old seal put a groove in yoke causing it not to seal properly with new seals.

New yoke and a new seal. Remember to lubricate the seal surface and the yoke surface before mating them to keep any abrasions from happening.
