Child Carseat latches?

Child Carseat latches?
Anyone know if the 2001 Durango RT has the safety lower anchors for car seats that have the Latch system tether straps?
Also, has anyone ever had lower anchors welded into the floor of their vehicle?
I always thought it would be an easy install and be an extra security feature along with the normal straps and tether belts.
For example: The lower anchors

Im reviving a dead thread here...I am having trouble finding out how to put safety seats in for my kids. they are both front facing. I can't find any anchors in between the seat cushions like I normally find on cars. Can anyone break it down "barney style" for me? LOL thanks.

I have a 98' durango slt, and I simply place the base in, and use the lap belt across the base to anchor it, and attach the removable car seat onto the base.
There are NO usable anchors for the auxiliary anchors that most car seats come with. Cargo anchors will NOT work unless you jerry rig extensions, which I do not recommend. Using both methods is best, but the seat belt is the primary anchor system, do not rely on the two little anchors, they are not all crash test rated, because they are not the primary anchoring set up.
Just use the seat belt.
