Default Shift RPM's

I have a 2000 Durango 5.9L 4X4, my question is what is the right RPM for an auto tranny to shift from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd?. Just making sure mine is shifting okey.
Thanks for the help

1st to 2nd = 18 to 22 mph, 2nd to 3rd= 22 to 30mph.

Depends on how hard you are pressing the skinny pedal.

At least you HAD a lane! Mine went from ramp to highway immediately. So did that tool get around you or did he eat D exhaust?

he came close to eating D grille into his passenger door, he had a roll on me, id guess 20-25 mph, and if it had been from a stop, idk how it woulda gone, probably alot of exhaust, but if i hadnt locked up the breaks id have hit him, and then he had the ***** to scream at me (i could see him baking gestures and screaming and leaning over the passenger seat as i drove away form the tool)

although to be honest, considering he had a lighter vehicle (charger) with a bigger engine (the SRT has the 6.1L hemi w/ about 180 hp on me) he should not have had a problem getting ahead of me so in all honesty, he sucks at driving

I think everyone mis-understood my question. My question was about what RPM not what speed does my truck should shift at 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. And I'm talking normal driving.
