i put ceramics on my truck around 2500 miles back, they stop good (more consistently than the semi-metallics that came off it) and have better modulation and maximum braking force (ie panic stop situation), no comment on the dusting issue yet since its winter and i have not had a chance to clean the rims for a proper dusting test as of yet.

there is no such thing as special rotors meant for use with ceramic pads, just get a set of premium rotors and move on with it.
