This one is different form the stated response above...

I have a ticking sound too whenever I turn to the left.
wait...
Oh nevermind.

Its my watch on the left hand and I hear it as I turn the wheel!

Sorry for the delayed response but you can count on me letting the community know the issue/fix. I had a bad stuck lifter on #5 intake. Replaced that and the rod and running smooth now. Weird that it sounded like it was in the intake though. I'll be replacing the other 15 lifters along with the rod. Also will replace the Cam and the crank bearings plus the timing chain. Almost a rebuild.
