Bad Speaker
Hydra, you have missed more than a few notes my friend............LOL!!!!!
However not in this case......
I used the Wiring adapters from BestBuy and can say the same thing. You remove the speakers, remove the factory harness, insert the B/B adapter and plug pos-pos and neg-neg to the new speaker and your done. Ops check speakers reinstall door panel and thats it. There isnt a unknown part of the speaker.........only two terminals.....Positive and negative.....so simple a light to moderately inebriated RAM V10 Q/C owner from Utah could do it.

Not sure what part # is but I think for the money $12.86 for set of 2, I think it is worth it. I am sure solder/heat shrink/tools would come close to that plus you have the manual labor involved. The BestBuy is literally plug and play and all set to go right from package. There is only two wires involved and as I stated before a moderately inebriated RAM V10 Q/C owner from Utah could do it with one Jack and Coke tied behind his back.

That's ok, I was pretty sloshed last night.......LOL......But it didn't make sense so I figured it should be a lil more explained is all.

I can't speak for your budget or technical experience level but IMHO the two sets of Best Buy wiring adapters at about $13 per set, are quick, readily available and literally should take no more than about 30 seconds to install.
The hardest part of this r/r is the trim panel but even that is not so bad. Take your time and the brass trim ring that is in the factory panel will not be needed again.
If in doubt after each speaker is replaced ops check. Run fade/bal all the way to the speaker that you are replacing, then once all four speakers are installed then do one final ops check.....Start at Center, then LF....RF....RR....RF.....Then back to center and you should be done..... Also, like I said....try the front speakers first.......if those work out, then go from there. Whether you use the Infinity or some other brand the technique should be pretty much the same ony the wiring adapters might change to meet your specific speakers.
