Transmission Chatter 30 MPH
2000 Durango 4.7, automatic, 4X4. Feb, I had the truck sreviced at dealership trans fluid and drive line $1500.00. Within 48 hours of service when I selected drive it was hard going in to gear almost like trying to shift a standard with out the clutch. Happened only once. Mid March I drove to Florida and back to Buf NY no problems. Jun 26, upon pulling away from traffic signal I heard a chattering noise around 30 MPH. It stopped after a few seconds. I was going under a overpass so I blew it off to the truck going over head. That evening I heard it again. I was driving through a park 15-20 MPH, as I departed the park I slowly accelerated and around 30 MPH I heard it again, a few seconds it stopped, no other vehicles around so I know its my truck. I don't know for sure if it is transmission. Any one have any ideas what may be going on?
I found two TSB here is the first on.
