mmm... super 44's, 40's, or 50's???
it was pretty cheap, i live in northern california, and theres alot of nice little shops out here to chose from. mine i was refered to by a friend thats had stuff done there too.
at midas i was quoted 275 to start, so i think it all depends on where you go and how much they charge for labor.
and the 50 series is definately noticeable, but not overly loud. it just has a really nice growl to it that sounds the way a v8 should sound.
im still trying to decide what i want because im pretty dang sure i'll be getting them soon. it seems most like the 50's so i may go with that. and how will the muffler be installed? I would like to do the work myself but i dont have a welder or saw which i assume will be needed.
50's or the 70 series. I liked the super 44 till I heard crackling upon release of the throttle. I like rumbles not rattles.
Just my thought though. You can listen to what they have here - http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/index.php?cat=1

And this is the reason I like MagnaFlow as my favorite. No drone and a great healthy sound that's not too loud. Louder is the 18" all the way up to the 24" which you don't loose the sound it just isn't as loud. I personally LOVE the MagnaFlow 24" series. Great for hunting and not pissin off the neighbors very much but a great healthy sound.
I agree.
I have the 50 series Delta Flow and it is perfect for my tastes. Read, I'm not 20 anymore. lol
Here's inside with the windows up and WOT:

cant really hear the exhuast, but you truck seems pretty quick! loved the chirp into 2nd. also for ***** to the wall driving, shouldnt you have your overdrive off? i bet you get HORRIBLE gas mileage with 4.56's but gotta love the acceleration lol.

In town mpg stayed exactly the same after the gear swap. I get 14 mpg but now it's a blast in town. I did lose 1-2 mpg on the hwy. It's at about 15 hwy mpg now.
I did the swap to help with towing. My stump grinder and trailer weigh in at 7,000 lbs and it pulls it with authority now. Was a little sluggish with the stock 3.56:1 gears.
