Default Loosing coolant cant find leak

I'm loosing coolant out of my 02 4.7L durango but i cant find a leak. I've checked all my hoses for breaks or holes and they dont have any and they are all tightend down and connected good. My over flow tank doesnt run empty but the actual radiator and engine will run low on coolant. Any ideas anyone has to help me in the right direction would be great.

are you leaking coolant (puddle under the truck) is there coolant in your oil? oil in your coolant? if it is leaking out of the cooling system it HAS to be going somewhere, if its not leaking out of the system visibly (drips under the truck) i would lean towards a head gasket being bad and its leaking into a cylinder or onto the exhaust manifold (it would hit hot exhaust and evaporate instantly)

If it were getting by the head gasket and getting into the cylinder he'd have white smoke.

there will only be a few drips and its coming from the overflow container. could there be something wrong causing it not to syphon coolant back into the system after sends it into the over flow container? I've checked the oil and it doesnt look like coolant is mixed with it and the coolant doesnt seem to be mixed with oil.

Collapsed hoses? Have you checked the bottom hose? Is your top hose OEM or aftermarket? The OEM hoses come with a spring inside it to prevent collapsing. Don't recall if the bottom has a spring. HTH.

Top and bottom hose are both original and both have a metal spring in them to keep them from collapsing.

Check for pin holes in the hose between the radiator cap and the overflow reservoir. Replace if necessary. If that's it it then you need to look into properly burping the 4.7L engine and getting it fully full of fluid. Then start to diagnose the issue.

My truck currently has a bad seal on the back side of the water-pump.
It doesn't leave much; if any puddle under the vehicle but it does pull everything out of the overflow tank.

Fortunately I have been able to keep up with it until I can get it replaced.

If it was hitting the exhaust he would definitely smell it.
