Default Durango wont pass smog

Anyone have any suggestions for me? I have a 1998 durango 5.3l 4x4....and it wont pass smog because I have a K&N intake and the guy i bought it from didnt have a sticker on it so it wont pass visual....Whats my cheapest option for getting it to pass visual? Putting a stock one in?

I would think that. You can put the stock on upon inspection then switch it out unless the sticker goes on the intake part?

Move to Minnesota. We don't have Smog testing. Unless you run with open exhaust pipes or your car creates a sun blocking smog cloud you're fine

yup... All thanks to Jessy (the mind) Ventura.. I thought K&N's would pass smog.. they have a sticker your supposed to post in your engine bay.. It might be worth the wrenching to call the K&N folks.. maybe they can give you some info or ship you a stick or something..

went to the junkyard today, every truck with a filter like mine had been stripped completely, and just to top off the 30 minute drive there, my check engine light decided to come on on my way back to **** me off just that much more.
