Question Tranny band adjustment pics/info?

I am going to do a tranny fluid/filter change on my D and want to do the band adjustments as well. I found a diagram on here a while ago that showed the location of the adjusters but my HD took a dump on me and I lost all my links etc. I found one pic in this sticky: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...to-tranny.html but the one I am looking for had a few more detailed pictures. Any help appreciated!

try that link, pdfs for much of the durango (you probably want the 2002 owners manual, which is actually a shop manual) which should tell you all that you need to know

That gave me what I was looking for. Thanks! My D is a 2001, are the torque specs the same?

OK, another question. What tranny do I have? There is a # stamped just above the pan on the drivers side: P(or R?)K52119758AA 0181 1596
Then slightly above and back from that is a sticker with the # P52118155 AF245855.

The mfg. date on the door sticker is 1-01 Its a 5.9l R/T with AWD (not 4WD)

I want to make sure I order the right parts and have the right torque specs. Thanks!

Edit: Also what lube do I need for my front/rear diffs? The 2002 manual I d/l'ed says 80W90. Do I have the trac-lok on my D and do I need the 'friction modifier'? If so, what is it called and how much do I need?

you should have the 46re on the 5.9l engine

and you can tell if you need the friction modifier by jacking up the back wheels, and try turning one of them, if the othe one turns the same direction then put in frictionmodifier, if not then dont worry

Thanks shrpshtr! How much of the modifier do I need? Is there a brand name to look for?

i would just go to the dealer for it, manual says to use mopar friction modifier, so i would just listen to it and pay for it.

Shrp- I would go to a dealer, but I live in an isolated community and the nearest one is a full day's trip with a ferry ride away! Click linky to see where I am:

I don't mind paying a few $$ more for the mopar stuff, but a day off work and about $150 in ferry fares/gas is a little much!
