Default Empty Connector Under Hood

Does anyone know what should plug into this? (pic)
I see it under the hood of the D and I wonder if anything is awry.

It looks OEM. Have you been getting any codes? I don't see that on my D but then again I have an 4.7 SLT. It looks like it's near the a/c components. Do you have a/c in your r/t?

I have AC and no codes. AC works fine, just not "ice cold". But maybe that's just me .

If I didn't think this was potentially serious I would laugh.

C'mon guys, surely someone out there has something like this plugged in (or hanging) under their hood ...

On my 01 R/T 5.9l that plug goes into a socket on one of the aluminum(?) refrigeration lines.

The wiring harness incluudes every connector your D would need if you had every available option. Typically nowone gets every option and there are connectors that go nowhere. If you had anything that plugged into that it would be very close to the connector. Don't sweat it.

It's going good. I got a job at the local International dealer (in Reno). WA was a bust and I am the go to guy for all the clutches, trannies, rear mains, diffs and anything else that involves a mechanic to be on their back all day long.

Oh well, gotta start somewhere.
