depends on what kind of **** you hit off-roading, some places say you should get it aligned every time you rotate the tires, others say every time you get a new set of tires, i tend to listen to the second group, and i get it aligned every time i get new tires on it, but in btwn i just let it go, so unless you change or damage something, or notice it pulling or wearing tires oddly your alignment SHOULD be good to go for quite a while

Yeah you know i haven't actually done any off roading with her yet. I'd like to you know? I'm gonna get some all terrain tires. Nothing fancy but something a little more aggressive then what i got now. maybe some cooper discoverer atr's

I don't know yet. But something!
Well i think i can manage to get this lift done now. i dont need any torsion keys or anything. I have plenty to work with. It needs 8 clockwise turns on each torsion bar bolt correct?
I'll post some before and after pictures of it for you guys!

The Coopers are going to be my next tire for the Durango, but I'm going with the Dakota Definity, same tire less price. The Pepboys site has pics.

Well the tire i have now is the Goodyear fortera silent armor. Ride is extremely smooth and i'd say almost no noise at all. But horrible traction now that i'm down to about 6/32 tread which is apparently half tread. So i'm gonna try to get through this winter and obviously next summer. But those are the tires i'm looking at.
I've also seen tires on a durango that say "durango" on the tire. anyone know who makes those?
This guy has some durango tires on his durango:

You can buy Belltech 6400 Shackles http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BEL-6400 for like $54.
Anyway, you will need a alignment after the T/S lift. What I do is buy a Lifetime Alignment from Firestone for about $150 and I can have done when ever I want! In fact I bought one again for my Ram so I can have it done when ever I want. I also had it on my Durango. If you buy one it is usually like $80 just for one so you pay less than 2 and have it done when ever!
