Default Stalling/Idoling crazy etc

Wanting to pick your brains on this. I have an 03 Durango 4.7 4wd, check engine light has been on for 2 years now. First it started with it idoling really high when i was stopped, then the rpm's would start jumping up and down as i was driving down the rode and would even stall going 50 mph. Took the vechicle to get it fixed and no one could find the problem (4 shops). Finally I took it to a Dodge dealer and they replaced some hoses ($700) and said i had some leaks and that would fix it. Pulled off the lot and check engine light comes on and stalls jeeeezzzz, finally they relplace a sensor and that solved the stalling while driving issue but im still left with the idoling issue at stoplights, sometimes if i come to a stop to quick it still stalls. Code for check engine light always comes back with an evap code which everyone tries to say is my gas cap which it is not. One time i drive it itseems to be fine, next time it runs like crap. Any idea what i should try since no one seems to be able to figure this out. Sorry for long post but this is getting really annoying and expensive, i hate even driving it for this reason.

the evap code should be simple to track down it is one of three things
1. gas cap (unless yours is NEW dont rule it out so easily)
2. evap hoses under the hood (follow the lines going off the little green cap)
3. evap hoses at the charcoal canister (under the drivers seat on the frame rail

the stalling has a couple of options too
1. IAC valve (little motor mounted on the tb, controls air intake at idle)
2. TPS, tells the computer where the throttle is, if the numbers dont agree the mixture gets all screwed up.
3. bad battery, believe it or not the battery can have enough juice to crank the truck over and still be too weak to run the truck since the PCM requires such a strict voltage (if its more the 3-4 years old its had a good life, just replace it)
