Check the battery connections. Probably not tight. Triple tighten the positive side.
If they are, with your 0601 code, probably need to reset the PCM with all the issues it had via the low batt voltage.
Disconnect the NEG batt cable completely. Place key in ignition and turn to start, holding the key in the on/start position as if it was cranking over for a duration of 10 seconds. Turn key off. Repeat two more times. Reconnect the NEG cable very tightly.
Drive 100 miles allowing the PCM to relearn and let us know how it is acting thereafter.

It could also be a TPS but I'm thinking a connection. Now a P0601 means a bad PCM however I'm thinking it's more of a connection issue. Also check the negative grounding lug and cab to block grounding lugs.

Well a very loud fuel pump is a problem in it's self. However Indy is right is saying a PCM reset doesn't do anything to the pump.
Second issue sounds like a PCM if you through a P0601. That code means the PCM is going out the door. You can get a new one that is pre-flashed from ebay. Make sure they know your year, motor, VIN and mileage before they ship it to you. Also ensure the year and motor when bidding or go straight to their store. I would stick with a company that is 100%. They sell for about $200 shipped for direct install. But I would only do this if you have exhausted the battery connections on all 4 sides of the cables.
