Question Diesel Conversion

hey guys i was wondering what motors in the dodge ram 3500 diesel and if it would fit in a durango? is it the Cummins 4bt? ive seen like 3 durangos so far with the 4BT in it and i was wondering if a cummins from a 3500 would fit being that a 360 would and i know its possible for a diesel swap just wondering if it will fit being that it is dodge and you can swap the 318 for a 360 and all that stuff. thanks guys!

It's been done. Seen it in Youtube. Also, banks turbo had a cummins 5.9 dakota project that broke over 200 mph. not cheap to convert tho.

the 3500 is a 5.9l cummins I6, it CAN be done, but you will have to move the firewall, and completely rebuild the front end (new suspension, new cooling system, new everything basically)

ive seen 4BT's put in too instead of the 6cyl 5.9 cummins... i would think a 4bt would be easier to pull off being its an inline 4.

really, durangos are rare by you? cross that state line into jersey, and they will be all over the place, mostly in very poor condition, but still all over the place
