Default turn signals/hazard lights blowing fuses!

I have a 99 Durango and never had problems with signals until recently. The blinkers just stopped. I replaced the fuse under the hood, but that only works for ONE BLINK, and then the fuse is blown again. I have replaced the flasher unit under the dash twice. This last time, I found a small rock in the right rear light assy, removed the rock, and flashers worked for about three whole weeks. Yesterday everything went out again.

I don't have a clue where to begin to look for a short in the wiring, but I don't know what else to look for.

Please help?

its a short somewhere, unplug all the blinker bulbs, and plug them in one by one, if it still blows with all the plugs/bulbs out then its something int he wiring, if it doesnt blow then its one of the bulb sockets, i would then start plugging them in one by one until i find which one blows it, there is your problem

Has the truck been in an accident? If it has,i would start with the damage area. If it hasn't been hit, then i would take out the bulbs one at a time as shrpshtr had said.

You're just low on blinker and bulb fluid!
