+2 Valvoline ATF+4.....O reilly's and Napa seem to be the common denominator for purchase. I do not recall seeing them in A/Z or Advance but then again I have not had to look in a while.

Fluid: When you get the fluid, I maybe a bit old school on this one but wherever you buy the ATF+4 I strongly recommend you get all bottles from the same lot/batch number it should be fairly easily marked and gives you piece of mind...A trick I learned in the military and makes a good practice.

A Couple of other side bars. MAG-HYTEC makes a aftermarket pan for the 4.7 I have one installed. It is about another quart or mabe 2 for better cirulation. This model also has a drain plug AND A blank off plate for installing a temp sensor either at a later time or during initial install. A bit pricey (about $285 in 2009) but if you do your own fluid and filter changes and want a fairly easy way to drain the fluid before you r/r the filter it may well be worth it.

This is the main MAG-HYTEC website link they also have DIFF Covers if you are so inclined.
