5.2 year difference question
5.2Ls are 318 CIs and have been around since the 70s so no.. not all 318s are Magnums.
The PCM will only look correctly for sensor input from the correct sensors from the Durango version of the Magnum (same as other Magnums but not necessarily the same sensor data being returned to the PCM.)

The engines were modified to Magnum:
1992 for the 5.2L
1993 for the 5.9L

i was too young in 92 to recall a magnum or not back then . . . but i dont trusk wiki articles usually either
