Default TRS question(s)

Alright back under the 2003 4wd 4.7L Durango. Master Tech informed me that my transmission is either a 45RFE or 545RFE in a prior post. Trying to find the Transmission Range Sensor (backup lights not working, etc..) or the Neutral Safety Switch. I'm a little confused on which is which, since I've run into conflicting pictures.

After looking at some posts in the forum and pictures in the forum and the pictures in the manual. I found something on my transmission that looks like the component circled in blue in attached picture, positioned inbetween the input and output sensor, but I'm not finding the TRS or NSS (whichever it is), which I believe is the component circled in Red.

Is the TRS/NSS inside the transmission housing?

Any info or help you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thank You

You might want to PM master tech.

The Neutral sensor is inside the transmission on a 45RFE.
