Question 03' Durango problems with lights and other things

I really don't know how to describe it, let me start out by saying the battery, alternator and starter are good and I was having other problems so I replaced the TCM and cleaned the idle control sensor. The problem I'm having now is that all the lights from time to time flicker like the trucks rpm's are going up and down but they aren't. Also when I use the blinker or when the hazards are on all the other light blink with them. The other problem I'm having is when I start at a slow roll the front wheels feel like when you run over the rumble strips on a highway.

Sounds like a short on the electrical issue and BJs or hubs on the wheel issue.

could the electrical issue be the CTM? Also how can I check the Ball Joints or the Hub without taking it apart?

Na.

CTM is odd stuff all the time. Horn honks, lights blink, headlight stop and start, etc. If yours is contained to flickering and when the blinkers are on, then you have a short that is bouncing around. When it touches/shorts, the lights are flickering and the blinker issue may just give you an idea as to which circuitry it is contained to.

Replace the flasher module and see what happens. Under $10 and less than 3 minutes to swap out. Get the new one plugged in there very tight.

I use to have a remote starter hooked up could the connections where I used butterfly connections cause the problems?

+1

It helps to have all the details up front for future reference.

Certainly that will be the absolute first place to check out.

See Post #2. Back to an electrical short as originally diagnosed.

Start wiggling the connectors at the CTM and see if anything happens.

Default Help!!!!

I took all the butterfly connections off and tapped them up and wiggled the wires while it was on and nothing was going on there and after tapping them up I noticed a little difference but the lights are still flickering when using blinkers and when I put up the windows and when I move the driver seat (power) as for the front wheel problem I still haven't looked at that. Still don't know how to check to see if it is the BJ's or Hub.

How about un-install it and take it back to OEM.
