I'm a member over at Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forum also and they have one of these threads going on over there, so I thought I would try to start one over here.

So here it goes:

Today I washed my D, scrubbed the rims, cleaned the rubber floor mats, started my oil change, will let oil drip out over night and finish in morn.

I did air filter, outer sway bar bushings, clay bar, rubbing compound, and waxed the exterior paint. Quick dust, wipe down, and vac the interior, cleaned the windows. Looks brandy new again until it rains on tuesday. OH and I almost for got, I finished my oil change and added some mystery oil to the crankcase now it runs alot smoother.

what do you mean shrp? Is it that bad? I haven't seen anything about mystery oil. I only put maybe 1 cup of it in. I am going to change the trans filter and fluid today and the plugs. I have the direct ignition set up. Theres no cap, rotor, or wires.

additives in the oil are bad in 99% of the cases, it is well stated in this section that we all hate these so called 'fix in a bottle' things that claim to improve your engine or make it last longer, its all BULL**** these companies can put w/e the hell they want in these additives and its NOT good for your engine, in your case the engine is running more smoothly because you put fresh plugs in it.

I got the spark plugs, and trans fluid and trans filters changed. Didn't get to clean the throttle body though. It is black with build up in there. I need to get a gasket for that now so it can be done.

Today I put my Durango to work.
Hitched up the boat and towed it to winter parking.
