P0455 and Check Engine Light
So after much research on this board as well as some others, I figured that the problem either lays with the EVAP hoses going bad or the gas cap. Replaced the gas cap and found that one of the EVAP hoses wasn't even connected to the cannister, so I replaced the 2 hoses that come in the Dodge OEM repair kit.
My question is, without pulling battery cables and not using an OBD-II scanner, how long would it take to get the check engine light to shut off? (That is, if the problem was fixed)

it takes anywhere from 300-500 miles according to official sources i have seen for the computer to relearn.
however once the problem is fixed it should be 2 or 4 full cycles of the evap check to clear the code (basically 2 or 4 full cycles of engine cold-hot-cold again), so if you commute id say give it a week

All you have to do is reset the PCM.
