I have a 99 dodge durango 5.9 w/ 46re trans and I keep getting p0505 iac A vehicle speed sensor not detected. am I supposed to change the iac motor or speed sensor? any advice would do.

 

dont know where you got anything about a vss from that code, but its a problem with the IAC motor or a bad wire going to it in the harness, i would replace the motor

Clean your Throttle Body https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...ttle-body.html and get a new IAC sensor. Also clean your air filter and look for any obstructions like a mouse nest in the intake system.
