check for fuel leaks around the injectors...

the dealer told being thats its a new engine they might solve it by updating the software

what should i do then the ecm reset didnt make a differnces auto light with like 4 gap i think i dunno

Well answering my direct question could help us, however you don't.


Tell ya what, just take it to a dealer and have them fix the whole truck cause you seem to have a lot of issues that you can't seem to fix.

Well the there is also a gas smell in the exhaust like its running rich i don't remember which type of plug i used other then the brand autolites

btw i never changed the cap n rotor would this also cause this or running rich doesnt got to do with anything?

Are you getting an engine code? Did you reset the PCM and are your O2 sensors working?

with no check engine light it may be that your plug wires are installed out of order.. seems simple but it will run just fine when 2 of the wires are off.. check and re check this..

With all the work thats been done under the hood. Are you sure all vaccume line are hooked up,and or cracked with age. If you have a vaccume leak the ecm could read this as being lean. Demanding a richer mix. Which uses more fuel.
