If the only issue is that you lost your speedometer then replace your ABS sensor on the top rear differential. Sorry if you find this ignorant. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...ensor-diy.html

the nosie was in that general area. But I think my wheel hub is on it's way out.I pulled the tire off and there was grease on the inside of the tire and it was coming from the back side of the wheel bearing. And there are no grease fittings near there.

Yeah generally when the front wheel bearings/hub is goin out there will be a loud obnoxious hum coming from the front wheel. This is a very easy fix and an average price to go by is about $300 per wheel hub.
If you were wanting to do this yourself (not sure how knowledgable you are) but it's not hard. Just take the wheel off and remove the rotor and brakes. There will be the hub. There is a plastic cover in the middle that contains some grease but most of all a nut and a cotter pin. Take the pin out and back off the nut and the hub will be loose. Before take it off if you have 4 wheel ABS be sure to remove that and put the new wheel hub on. Do the same process backwards and make sure to turn the key to on bride closing it all up to make sure everything is plugged in and no engine lights come up.
Like I said its not a difficult task and it took me about an hour to do.
As far as the driveshaft goes, what were the symptoms they replaced that on? Typically you will know right away if you need a new drive shaft! Lol
