I removed the "SLT" badges from my doors and put the R/T badges in place, and I used this tool. The adhesive from the factory emblems came off in seconds with no issues.

When I initially took the badges off, I took the smallest flathead I could find (precision tools), slid it behind the badge, and pulled it off. I took extreme precaution to not scratch the paint, and I had everything done in a couple minutes.

ajoshi: Before I did anything, I washed the gate real good, did as I said in my earlier post and to get the residual glue off, I used rubbing alcohol on a terry cloth (face cloth) and rub in a back and forth motion until it all was off. I then clay bared the gate and waxed it. There was no signs of emblems ever even being on there. It took me probably 1hr. I have never seen a tool like that before.

sam: The stickers on the side windows are for my small engine repair that I do on my own, after working a regular job. The big sticker on the back window is degrading Chevy. It says
"Little boys wear bowties" with chev bowtie under it
"Real men have horns" with ram head under it
The other 2, I don't know, I was thinking about taking off as well as the side window stickers.

It's not that I'm loaded (well at them time I wrote this....) I have learned you can never be ready for what you can't see! One of these days you will be in the back country with miles and miles separating you from others, and when you get there and something happens your f#$cked!

Oh, by the way I also carry an old fan belt, extra fluids (all main), floor jack, cinch straps, CB, extra CB antenna, extra fuses, gum (for foil wrapping and something to do), wire, Propane torch, large heavy duty tarp, 2 star lug wrenches, Torque wrench, wire cutters, jack stands, fishing line and a few spinners, extra hitch pins, and all my main tools now......LMFAO

Better to be totally prepared, then under prepared. I might sound like a over careful person, but I'll see ya there and I will be alive. Been there and done that dude!.......

In my far back storage I have my 3-ball hitch, jumper cables, can of WD-40, can of brake cleaner, a couple wind proof lighters, a can of lighter fluid, stock jack, pliers, 2 utility blades, and a portable air horn.

When it comes to pulling stuck people out of a ditch, I use a bubba rope. It's got a breaking strength of around 15,000# and has a loop to easily loop it around the hitch ball and pull someone out.

As for the storage where the 3rd row would go, I have a set of bolt cutters, 20ft chains, first aid kit, Dr. Socket set (all sockets, Allen wrenches, and screwdriver bits), larger hydraulic Duralast jack, a large wool blanket, large Mag light, and tire chains.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention I also have a fire extinguisher behind the driver seat.

I also have a backscratcher under the driver seat and a 4 D cell mag light beside the driver seat between it and the center console.

I also keep my Glock 19 in case with 2 un-loaded case in the glove box. Yes I have a carry permit.
Hell ya brother! I carry a 40 Cal with a permit. I traded my 45 and went 40 Cal Taurus Stainless. Actually bought it for the wife, but I ended up with it......LMAO....But check this out, it has with a 200 yard 3 shot in a nickel!

Hell ya that's what's up! I just have my Glock 19 9mm, it has a regular clip (19 shots) and an extended clip (33 shots) that shoot as fast as I can pull the trigger.

Range 9/10 times is better however, so I like your tactic.

Hydra, widow you guys are great i swear. Yeah I'll slowly keep adding to whats all in my durango and eventually get to where you guys are.

I've got jumper cables, a tow strap and the factory given jack along with the spare and its tools. So I've slowly been adding.

Hey shrp, duramgo, do our durango's come with stock lsd's? or is it an open differential? I've heard on an off roading website that reviewed the durango that the durango has an option for a factory lsd, which is a good option rather than buying your own.

I was wondering since we have the slt trims which is better than the lower end sxt trim that maybe it came with the lsd? (shrp and I have the slt+) since the slt's and slt+'s are pretty loaded i'm hoping for a lsd?!?!

I believe the Durango didn't have an SXT package, I'm pretty sure it was Dakota and others. Also, yes an LSD was available for all packages, even mine (regular SLT).

To check if yours has an LSD, jack the rear end of the truck up and put on jack stands, then put the transmission in neutral. Spin the passenger side rear tire as if you were going forward, and if the drivers side spins the same direction, you have a LSD. If it spins the opposite direction, you have an open differential.

yea white widow is correct on how to find out if you have one, it was an OPTION, not standard on the SLT or SLT+, it MIGHT have been standard on the R/T, but im not even sure on that.

although you are mistake widow, the SXT was the baseline trim for the durango iirc, but it was definitely a trimline.

josh, i do NOT have a limited slip in my truck, its not listed on my build sheet even tho i have the tow package.
