tranny flush?? oh noes here we go again!


dont do the tranny flush just drop the pan change the filter and refill with ATF+4 only



one of those 4.7 saved my life a year ago.. it was totaled so i bought another one.

NEVER do a tranny flush, just drop the pan and change the filter, you will thank us later

Ok here we go. Tell this seasoned vet why you say not, and be very technical and list references please.

+10000 since it is listed on every credible Dodge forum that has a Durango section.

From your Durango Elders, DO NOT FLUSH the Durango transmission. Drop the pan, replace the filter(s), adjust the bands if applicable and button it back up. Refill with ATF+4. Done.

No need to further explain other than it will save you money on not needing a new trans from a faulty flush. Need more...Name:  gotsearch.gif

those two threads explain the transmission fluid and change procedure quite well if you want to do more than just change the pan and filters
