Power dood locks?
Wow do I have good one, at 0300 this morn I was awakened to hearing my doors unlocking repeatedly. The drivers door lock is very noisy anyway. I started the vic and it stopped. But a few minutes later it started again. I wondered if the noisy drivers lock had gotten moist, but even after unhooking it the doors still tried to unlock. I am wondering if the battery is not bad. It is running on a 2A charge till the sun comes up. Moisture may be an issue as it has rained for the last 5 days, and where I live it is normally very dry. (high Mojave desert). Any ideas?????

i would begin by checking the door lock controls in the drivers and passenger doors, and if that doesnt make a difference move on to the CTM, (on that note) are you having any other electrical issues that SEEM unrelated??
Errr. Wrong answer shrpshtr325.
It is moisture. There is a TSB to fix it. Very cheap repair for the dealer.
See this thread for my personal experience with the same issue:

It's all good SS my friend! Now you know and can help others along the way in the future.
Hey lucky, THANK YOU for your service to our country. As a veteran myself, your service is very much appreciated supporting our American way of life.
+1 on the TSB being a Tech Service Bulletin. pkucan has that right on. When you talk to the dealer on your repair, they will understand what you mean when you tell them to follow the TSB. Also note, stand your ground on the pricing and time the TSB states to do the repair. It is under an hour and my dealer biatched about it not being enough HOWEVER they did get it done within that time. It sounds worse than it is in terms of the fix. You will want to fix it because the doors could lock on you with the keys in the vehicle and you outside of it! The locks will have a mind of their own until you get it fixed.

As of Yesterday afternoon that doors have been fine. No mysterious locking or unlocking. I am thinking it was from all the moisture and rain that we have been having. Thanks everybody for all the information.
