Started and finished priming it yesterday. I had to cut the steel bumper off even with light assy, the rot on the ends was to great to repair. Angled the lower half inwards to give it a better look.

Its a quick fix until i can get the kennesaw bumpers.

Those steel bumpers will usually strart rusting on the inside first before the outside. Wouldn't hurt to put a few coats of anything in the inside too to keep new rust from starting, epsecially on the ends.
Mud is the #1 cause of rust, it sticks to things and holds moisture right up on the metal, so it starts eating away stuff from the inside/bottom out since you keep the outside clean.

Looks good. Been thinking about doing this to mine actually and with the looks of yours, I might make it into a weeknight project soon.
