Hey Tommy, welcome to DF. There are a couple of products out there to do that. One is by Meguiar's(sp). It's usually sold in wallymart or your local auto parts store. Another one is sold by motorcycle dealerships. Same principle as Meg's. They're both called Lense cleaning kits. HTH.

or buy new headlight, or live with it, all the kits are going to work about the same based on what i have seen/heard from friends, mine haven't gone yellow yet.

I heard this too, and I also heard not just ANY toothpaste will work. I heard it has to be an old fashioned paste, gels wont work.... Just what I heard, havent tried it myself!

There is another brand of cleaning kit that costs $20 from walmart. Best cleaning kit I have ever came across. I used it to remove all the yellow tarnish on my camry and it is now over a couple years and the lens are still clean!

Here is the link to the thread. Sadly, the pic I posted is lost problably when this site was converted.

Well im drawing a blank on the exact name but I bought for about 10bucks an turtle wax 2 or 3 step (another blank, sorry) exterior lighting polishing kit for my durango, the trucks headlights werent bad looking, just one was a bit foggier then the other, and they were just both kinda dull. I ended up using the less coarse? compound.

I Grabed my buffer, and went to town on those headlights minutes after finishing the wash, I hit them a few times with that stuff and they came out GREAT! they are MUCH crisper and newer looking, I also did the tailights to which also came out great.

So I defintly suggest trying this turtle wax stuff, and you dont even kneed an smaller buffer to, I was using a basic 10in buffer and it worked just fine, Dont forget to go over them with a coat of wax after, and you wont only be amazed at how much better they look, they allow much more light thru them to! Good luck!

btw since I polished them up a good 6months ago, I havent had any need to re polish them, still just as shiny as new, they litterly do look brand spanking new, just thought I'll make that clear

Made from the same stuff and will do the same thing. Once you removed the fouled layer they won't fog any faster than new ones.
