Thank you WhiteWidow, that is a good reference diagram for trailer wiring, but how 'bout for the D. I'm a little worried (now) that the wiring on the D has been modified, or damaged. I want to protect the trailer and don't want anything avoidable to happen to my D either.

Look at before the trailer connector on the diagram, it gives you colors and they should match up according to code. The colors are pretty universal and if I'm correct, they should match up color wise to your factory pole.

Thanks for the help WW I was hoping to find a factory wiring diagram of my D to find out how the power supply is "supposed" to be connected, So I can determine if something is wrong with the way that mine is. That was the Schematic I was really after, but I printed out the plug/trailer diagram that you posted and put a copy in my TT in-case I have to fix something in the woods!

check the FAQ at the top of the page, one of the service manuals linked to in there should have the wiring diagram you are looking for

Default Got It!

So I managed to Download the 2000 Service Manual, only to discover that the 8W (Wiring) and 21 (Transmission and Transfer Case) files are missing... If anyone has these sections I would love to have a matched set. Anyway, I then Downloaded the 2002 Service Manual (which is complete). Based on 8W-10-14, 8W-54-2 & 8W-54-3 there is no relay or connection to the Ignition Switch in the factory wiring. Just a direct run from the Trailer Tow Connector to the Battery through the Power Distribution Center and Fuse C for a 20A Fuse. At least now I know that what I have going on (Based on the 2002 Wiring Diagram) is that way from the factory.

Oh wow, Thank you! I went back and realized that I am in fact a doofus! I only now (since I followed the links you provided) realized that my Dumb A#@ didn't switch to the second page of files to find the 8W file... So Thank you, and Sorry!
