Ya, I don't like any additives however water in the fuel I would use Heat if that's what you know the problem is, and for a general cleaner Seafoam but I'm taking about a one time application. Regardless, I am one for fixing the problem instead of just covering it up.

I think I just confirmed my suspicions... That specific chain of gas stations was cited for having water in their gas.

I had this happen to me.... except it was trash in the gas and not water... the trash plugged up my fuel injectors.... the gas station paid for the repairs... including the towing.... you might want to look into it...

Sounds like you got it nailed down. Put a bottle of Heat in the tank.
