Default What speakers are you using in the doors.

My back door speakers are done!! I replaced one in the driver door and it don't sound very good.More of a mid, high range. We have kids so no sub in the back. But when the kids aren't with us we like to rock out. So a good full range replacement is what i'm after. And yes it has the infinity with the little amps at the speaker. We are going to change the deck later. Just wondering what every one is stuffing in the doors

I have the Infinity Reference series and love them. They're a little cheaper than most brands and are very nice sounding. I like my music loud and have no problem at all with the speakers distorting.

Hydra, I actually just finished (like 10 minutes ago) installing new speakers in my Ram and used the Infinity Reference 6x9. Very very happy with them!

I use polka audio and ordered them from crutchfield. Pricey but worth it.

Do they have the factory amp on the speaker?

+2 on the Infinity reference series....don't quote me but I believe the ones I replaced last summer were the 6032 CF series. Read some old threads on this forum they should be in there. I ordered mine online from a link off the Durango Owners Club thread...if I find it I will post it here. I want to say mine were around $50 a set......For reference BTW Best Buy was running about $99 a set for the same speakers. They ship from California so I had to wait a few days but that was minor for the price savings. So for just over $100 I got all four speakers replaced and they were plug and play. The only other item needed was a wiring adapter kit available from Best Buy (approximately $13.00 per set.....2 required.) With all tools readily available the fronts took me about 30 minutes or less...... Rears took slightly longer due to more disassembly of rear doors.

Mine is 03 SLT but the 6X9 measurements definitely stick out as the standard. Follow instructions and you should be fine..

I also forgot to mention these have the tweeters built in and you can adjust the settings and angle......Hint do it before you install the door panel.

Mine didn't. It was just a standard speaker install, take old speaker out and cut wires back and solder wires on new speakers.
