security wont reset w/ passenger door
i think ive found the prob the rear drivers door the lock button is in side door panel ill try and get it back out. i read what hydra said by locking them manully and found lock button inside door panel
still not reseting. this is how it occured i walked out side doors were locked so i unlocked drivers door w/ key and alarm went off i tryed to reset by unlocking passenger door but it didnt work so i unhooked both horns. now i cant drive to dodge so they told me they would have a mechanic guide me through it on monday.
When I lost my key fob, I used my key for a while in the door lock and set off the security alarm a couple of times. I never had the locks go caddywompus on me though. I did work for a Dodge dealer for a short time and learned the if you turn the key back and forth it would disarm and unlock one or all locks. I forget how to do it but I hope this helps you out.
the front doors both open w/ key but rear hatch doesn't. i tryed taking disconecting neg battery cable for 5 min but still not helping. even if i leave door open then try it still sets off alarm when i turn the key. this is a factory alarm. i checked the lock cylinder electric conection at the pass door and rear hatch.maybe ive even tryed taking out relays, switching relays, checking fuses maybe i should try the ones under the dash too.
dodge service told me to charge battery and were concerced if rear hatch was broken it might be the problem . its a $100 tow to shop from the tow company they use.

LOL....Sounds like a classic screw ya.
Do what you want and pay the man, but the drivers side is what resets the OEM alarm. Does the hatch have something to do with your particular issue, hell I don't know, but the rear hatch key tumblers are usually always frozen and the only way in is the unlock and handle lift method.
Again, reset the OEM alarm here: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...going-off.html
