Default Keyless entry works to unlock/lock doors, but panel wont...Wierd!! Please Help!!

Here is the problem, my inside door locks on drivers and passanger side door panel wont work, the light is but when you click it to lock or unlock nothing. you can manually unlock the doors of course, and you can use the keyless entry to lock and unlock, its just the door panel switch that wont work!!! I have been through every fuse in the truck inside cab and in engine compartment, nothing is blown. I was told by the local dealer that it was the CTM, and they want 600 to replace, i pulled the fuses and the connections to the CTM and tried to reset it, still didnt work. So i went to the junk yard and bout a new master panel, nothing. So Ive tried all this stuff and nothing, its really just a inconvience not being able to use the lock switch but if its something small id like to repair it. Im not gonna spend $600 on a CTM when i can just hit the lock/unlock on the remote. So if you have any ideas PLEASE let me know. I just have a hard time believeing that the CTM malfunctioned for locks only, plus when i unplugged the CTM i could still use the windows, remote and everything, so idk.. please let me know if you can help I greatly appreciate it and look foward to being a very happy 2001 dodge durango 5.9L 4x4 owner!!!! will pixs soon... thanx!!

Have you tried to test power to the switches?

I haven't had a chance to yet, I need to buy a meter to check it, but the light on the lock switch is working so, but I do need to check the voltage, I just have a hard time believing that the CTM isn't delivering power to just the locks. But from what I see on the schematic is that the driver n passenger locks are independent.

i dont think its the ctm you have a bad connection or something in btwn them maybe a loose ground, if the ctm was bad you would have some other seemingly unrelated electrical problems

I agree i dont think its the CTM.. i think thats a BS diagnostic to tell you the truth. Well i dont know about the ground, bc on the connector there is only 1 ground cable, the other items are working fine. Is thier another ground cable i should check??
