Default More Durango trouble

So my sis is borrowing the Wango Tango Durango.She stalls it at a stop sign,and it wont start.AAA guy tests it,says alternator.Forgetting I had read it here before,I buy an alternator,install it,no love.
I buy a new battery,return the alternator(I'm outta work,and can't afford this)still no love.I go to the boneyard,get another alternator,you guessed it,no love.
She starts,runs,drives,but the guage reads around 8,and I've got the "check guages"idiot light on.Power windows sloooooooooow.I'm afraid to test drive it.Any suggestions?Thanks,Bobby.

Is it giving a CEL code? It sounds to me like a possible bad voltage regulator or battery temperature sensor.

CEL = Check Engine Light

With a check engine light comes a code, typically something we have to ask as some people forget to include that information.

I'm gonna say you have a bad voltage regulator. Take a look at it and see if there's any obvious burns.

When you say you are afraid to test drive it, you're at least starting the engine correct? The battery could just be drained and hasn't been recharged yet... Just thinking of possibilities.

Inside the alternator. Should be a green and white wire running from it.

If its inside the alternator,I'm guessing it's not the problem,as I've had 3 different alternators in there the last 2 days.What's a pcm,and where can I find it?

Which engine do you have?

The PCM is the powertrain control module.

If you have the 5.9, its located on the passenger side near the headlight area. Has a million and a half wires coming from it.
