Found a Durango on ebay with salvage title and a straightened frame. Is it worth 2500? 3000?

pretty iffy... the fact is that they are selling it.. selling it on ebay.. if i were to sell a truck with a salvage title and some F'ed up issues that is where i would go..

Salvage title, damaged frame, rust, and bad transmission?

Yikes. I see them around here for from time to time for about 3 grand with nothing more than a little surface rust needing to be taken care of....

(There's a strong potential that taking care of the bad tranny will add 2 grand or more to the cost of the vehicle...)

I know it's too late for the auction, but I would not buy a car without looking at it first. But that's just me!

Plus with any car with a salvage title, check whether you can insure it and how much it will cost you.

No I didn't buy it. I was just looking at it as a toy/fixer upper. I think the price for a vehicle with 100,000 miles caught my eye and the rest just blended in. Thanks for all the info.

In some states, u can't register a vehicle that has a salvage title.
