Default Doors not locking

I a have 2002 Dodge Durango w/ 114,500 mls. 2 weeks ago the doors refuse to lock via key or inside buttons. Has anyone seen this problem and is there a simple way to trouble shoot and fix. Please Help. I have to lock all doors manually including the Hatch Back

CTM? Whoa there cowboy. I doubt it. CTM is weird stuff like bells and lights and locks and lots-o-stuff. Not something in a $500 fix I would jump to straight out of the gate on a report of simple lock failures. Really sux to spend that cash and still have a problem.

If there is no noise (odd squealing, etc) then the issue is likely the drivers door master switch.

hence why i asked about any other electrical problems, the master switch came to my mind too, but im used to seeing that one being an intermittent problem which goes w/ some warning, you are absolutely correct that the master switch is a much cheaper option, and i too would replace it first as long as this is the ONLY issue he is having

he also said the remotes arent working . . .

I don't think the rt. rr. door lock has any affect on the whole locking problem. The system is made to work if any one of the locks fail. I'd start at the master switch and work my way from there. Maybe you just need to WD-40 all the locks.

the rear door lock probably just needs to be lubricated, but as stated above start w/ the master switch and go from there

I have the same problem on my 2000 4.7L SLT. Every winter (temps below 30 degrees), the power door lock function will not "lock". The "unlock" function works fine. This problem occurs whether using the door panel switches or the remote. I do hear a relay "click" from the passenger side kick panel, but none of the door actuator solenoids will fire during the "lock" cycle. Consequently, I believe the problem is some type of relay control module behind the passenger side kick panel. There are no other electrical issues with the vehicle.

This same thing has happened every year for the last two years., something I can always expect. I would like to get this corrected, without breaking the bank. I have noticed mention of the CTM, but am hoping that my vehicle might have another module that controls the door lock function. I do not know if my vehicle is considered "highline"?

Looking forward to assistance to resolve this nuisance issue.
