P0171 Code and getting 9MPG

Ah good old wd-40, when I can't get something loose the only colors I look for on my shelf of cans are blue and yellow.
So the shop has my car hostage for 3 days already, I bet the ransom money will be crazy high to get it back haha. Since I also told them to do an alignment I got to do some intense mudding and offroading the day before so I baked mud on their brand new exhaust system they installed and they'll have to dig to align it. Widow can probably relate to that when somebody brings in a muddy truck and the shop floor becomes a mess.
Should be interesting to see what they find out, I'll deffinetly keep you guys posted on everything.

Well just got the car back today, they said they had to splice on the dealer O2 sensor because the plug was melted so oh well it happens, anyways it seems to be running much better now. I just drove it home so far but my MPGs went back up to 17 average instead of 4 so that's alone will pay off for the $150 shop bill in no time.
Alright I got the problem solved, all is well, just chimed in to post the verdict. You guys can go back to talking about your deep creep lubercant and twine or bailin or whatever it was, there's another thread on here about wives, nuts, and impacting as hydra stated, so enjoy hahaha.

They said both connectors were melted together, eventually when (if sounds better) I need to replace the O2 sensor again, I'll hack off the connector from a junk D and splice that on so it's legit again. I gave them a new O2 sensor I bought from the dealer with the connector on it but they had to cut if off.
