I believe both steering systems had the tierods on the same spot, to the front of the engine. If you see rubber (well plastic) boots on the inner tierods then it's for sure r&p, if you see both inner tierods connecting to a round metal bar with 2 "arms" coming down holding it up that bar, then it's the older steering box type.
I deff see the inner tie rod boots..my int shaft makes sound when i shake/try to turn back and forth quickly.So if that the problem most likely?I also baught a new gas cap,right away noticed better response to engine.is that normal?Thanks,kyle.
