Yeah Evon I don't have a hate for Ford I just know how they make their product and I've been left on the side of the road many times due to failure of their trucks. My wife has a Taurus that we've been super happy with but it's not a Ford truck.
I've put all my Dodge trucks to work and they take the abuse and still work. I always end up back with Dodge so that's why I trust my life to Mopar and will until death.
I do love showing up a nice shiny Ford with my old sleeper Durango. Any day of the week I can show my work and babying my truck with only the best I will be happy.
I'm sorry to hear about your Durango but it sounds like it's seen better days. Hopefully all works out in the longrun. Hopefully you will be happy with whatever replaces it and hopefully it rings you many happy trails.

Sounds like you're getting pretty close to the kind of MPGs Hydra's getting. Now I'm curious how much HP you got on it now and if it's maxed out or if you can still add even more to it. The stroker will deffinetly give it more low end torque to unlock both rear tires no problem, bet you can just tap the pedal now and it bites. Got any future mods planned? Oh and do let us know the results when you dyno test it haha.

I'm wanting to get it on the dyno not this weekend but next. Also, as far as power goes the way I have it programmed I can still feel a difference but it's not ridiculous burnouts every time I press the pedal. I still get nice smooth city driving I just have to watch it because yeah, I have more torque than my diesel now.
I also opened up a lot of top end horsepower and it's freakin' awesome. LOL I can let her rip and burnout by just puting the pedal thru the throttle body, so to speak. LOL

Your story came to mind today. Since I don't have my D anymore I'm stuck driving my mom's 09 honda fit. Now don't get my wrong it does pull off the line kind of hard, can't brag about the acceleration though. (1.5L at 115HP, 106 lb·ft, 2.3K curb weight) So anyways, I pass up this 1988 ford escort pony and we stop at the next red light side by side, turns green we both floor it and this thing just speeds past me, it was pretty embarressing haha. Moral of the story: don't race 40+ MPG cars.
