It does say that but underneath it says 97-03 Durango and Dakota 5.2 and 5.9 I would contat seller and ask before purchasing though I have a 4.7 but I would tend to say that the 5.2 and 5.9 seem to have the same intake housing. IMHO I would say yes but verify before purchase.
widow, i think that was a change around the 2000 model year they moved the cap to the driver side from the passenger side, google a 99 5.9 and it shows the cap on the passenger side.

Colder air = More Mass
The redirected air path is brought in from a much colder intake area so it gets more air mass from the colder air, thus better fuel economy and a better running engine.
Also, with a more direct and smoother path, and a fiber cone filter vs a paper element filter you get much better throttle response and more power because it's less restrictive.
