Default wheel bearing hub problem

I have a 2001 durango 2wd without front abs. I cant seem to pry the wheel hub assemble off. Any advice on how to get it off without busting another blood vessel in my head.

Never messed with the 2WD hubs but they seem to be a two piece design, the axel nut looks like it holds everything together. I know they use snap rings to hold the bearings in.
I believe you need a puller to pull the hub assembly off the spindle, prying it only on 1 side may bind it.

LOL welcome to the wonders of replacing a hub. Use the longest breaker bar you can find and put a 5' pipe on it and use your body weight to remove it. You're not goin to break the bolt that sucker is just on there tight!

Lol, sounds like you are having Fun.
are you talking about the spindle nut or the Hub itself? For the spindle nut, you just need a long breaker bar with a pipe as suggested.
for the hub:
remove the Spindle nut, Install the rotor, tighten the rotor on with ur lug nut, Use the biggest hammer you got and whack the rotor like a man.(of course, you might have to replace the rotor afterward),
if that doesnt work, try Put a small Car jack between the rotor and the Knuckle.
or if you can find a piece of wood or metal tube to jam between the rotor and the Frame, start the car, and turn the steering wheel as hard as you could, compress the rotor against the Frame of ur car.

Just to let everyone know, Autozone has a tool that takes it off in less than 2 minutes. I learned this after 4 hours of prying and hammering. Good thing its only 90 with 100% humidity lol.

5+ lb sledge hammer will pop it off every time. I usually use about a 10 lb'er 2-3 whacks usually pops it right off.
