Press in type replacement lower BJ for 99 durango..

this is the press in replacement lower BJ for the 01 dakota..

now, are you trying to put a Durango BJ in a dakota control arm?? you cant see too much difference in the pictures but I might think the dakota BJ may be a little longer.. try installing dakota BJs..

Personally, I think the ball joints and knuckles have some in differences. I have seen this before on a newer (like 2002, and I know I saw a 2003 large break model) Durango to a 1999 Durango and all he had to do was get the ball joint for the 2002 and it fits in the lower.

From what I understand, the knuckles and ball joints are different but not the lower control arm. So you get the lower BJ for the 02 and install. The actual difference is only a larger lower ball joint hole in the knuckle hints the reason.

Also the regular upper ball joints should work just fine. Don't think there are any changes.

Yes, the knuckle from the 2002 should fit if you use a 2002 lower ball joint.
