Replacing Stock Muffler
yup widow, the OEM system comes w/ clamps, and after a couple months in the weather the clamps even become unneccesary due to corrosion of the pipes. its up to you if you want to weld it together, it is definitely a better way to go, but if you dont have access to a welder and want to use clamps you will be just fine.
i like the clamps, cause if you get tired of the muffler than you dont have to cut anything and dont got to replace anymore piping. Replacing the muffler on my dakota only took about 45 minutes with cutting and putting it back together
Hey, guys thanks for the feedback... i think clamps would be the way to go... and you have a point there Innercity if i dont like it i can just replace it...
I have been having some trouble with the engine, I think it might be misfiring I'm not sure I don't know how to tell... there is no black smoke. lol. So the muffler will have to wait
thanks again guys!
