Yes, that would be cheaper to part it out verses a full cat back. Easier? Maybe not.

Cats are expensive because they contain Platinum.

I have no idea what HS was saying. Again, if you are going to get the full catback, then look at the Borla or Magnaflow set ups.

so looks like i need to start savin more... need new shocks, leaf springs, and exhaust system... oh boy.

The way you stated this statement, well it looks like your saying "if you want to waste your money then buy these". Now I see what you mean buy blowing un-needed cash on a full performance system if all you want is the sound, but the systems themselves are very good systems.

As for the muffler post I stated, if you open a Flowmaster muffler they are baffled and chambered, Mangaflow muffler is a straight through piped design just like a glass pack is so it is far superior by design.
