Default Tuning help

I was wanting a Bullydog GT tuner on my 1998 Durango 5.9L Magnum. But I went to the site and they're only options for Durango are 04 and up. Would this tuner still work on my 98? Or is there another tuner out there that would be similar for my Durango?

Any comment to the Fuel Maxx Performance Chip? I see its fairly cheap. Is it worth the buy? Looking to add horsepower and such for the time being till I do a complete teardown of the engine.

Yes I know this. But I didn't know if there was a way to "tune" the tuner to work on it.

Found this in a Google search...
Re: Does FUEL MAX PERFORMANCE CHIP really work? i bought one for my buic park ave didnt see any difference, might have been less fuel milage. took it off and tore it apart. the only thing inside the filling material ( hide what is inside) was the two wires connected to a 2kohms 20% resistor. rea hi tech huh!!! they even used the cheape resistor they could find... this is a big rip off and i should have know better. tried contact the company to thank them for the rip off but i cant get past their faq questions.... Never again...ps spread the word

I see this now and found the very post you posted only 5 minutes ago. LOL! Fuel MAxx is a total rip. Was thinking about a Jet Performance however. I'll be calling a tuning shop tomorrow to discuss a custom tune. I know it won't be cheap, but when is something cheap that we want. LOL!

No it will NOT work. Different PCM's!

Fuel Max is crap! I would go to Hypertech, Super Chips, SCT, or do a custom flash or B&G.
