I just done this over the weekend and it was harder getting the harness out of the donor truck than installing it in my own. I done the mirror also, you have to add the pins to YOUR EXISTING harness for the mirror to work. Love it and looks so much better now.

Thanks old school,, I am going to do this as soon as I get my D straightin out,, My son has one in his 99 D So I will make mine look as good as his,,lol

I ended up making my own harness for the mirror and the overhead console. With that said all wires are connected to the circuit that Dodge intended it to be hooked to (With lots of help from the FSM) So if you pull the fuse marked for the overhead console then it console accually goes out.

I also ended up swapping out the 98 console (long skinny POS) for the 99 console (shorter, much nicer) so i could add the overhead A/C unit (write-up w/pic in the works)...

The whole rear a/c system or just the fan that is supposed to blow air from the front into the second row?

The whole system.. its really alot easier than it looks... I am waiting for some pics to come back from developing (yes i had to use film)

does it just get air from the front a/c or does it have it's own refrigerant lines and condenser?
